LEAVE A LEGACY® is a program of the National Committee on Planned Giving that promotes charitable giving through lifetime gifts, wills or other estate plans. LEAVE A LEGACY program works in partnership with civic-minded volunteers, professional advisors and nonprofit organizations—including cultural, civic, educational, environmental, healthcare, religious and social service institutions and groups—to encourage this activity.
The Gift of a Lifetime
Philanthropy is not just for the wealthy. It cuts across boundaries of economics, race, religion, and even spans the boundless realms of time itself. It is giving, but most of all it is caring—caring if children are educated, if diseases are cured, if the aged are cared for, if our artistic, cultural and religious heritage is preserved, if people in our community are treated with compassion regardless of their ability to pay.
Many people spend a lifetime supporting charitable organizations that depend on this assistance to complete their missions of caring. But who will continue the work across the decades? By "Leaving A Legacy" you can continue to care through your favorite charities beyond your lifetime.
